First things first, this is a personal blog. Well, of sorts. This substack started out life as a big Google Map I had that I referred to whenever people, mostly architects, asked what they should see when visiting a certain city. So this is my attempt to share that information in the best place possible. I hope you enjoy!

What to read:
There is a lot to read out there and it can be overwhelming knowing what you should read. This curated selection of articles, short essays and readings cuts through the information soup that is today’s internet to bring you the most important (and interesting) stuff directly to your inbox. What to watch:
As much as there is too much to read, there’s also too much to watch. And if you (secretly) hate reading, or you want to watch something while you eat your lunch, maybe this is more for you. Here you’ll find links to videos on YouTube, Vimeo, Netflix etc., that you can save for later – or watch right now if you please.Who to follow:
Instagram has roughly 2.5 billion active accounts, LinkedIn has 950 million and Substack has 35 million. Here will be a selection of who you should be following so you can stay informed and inspired.
Paying subscribers (monthly) to Architecture on Tour will get access to…
City guides:
Where and what to explore! Within these there will be a whole host of places to visit within a certain area. Sometimes this will cover a major city, like Newcastle or Copenhagen, or somewhere smaller – but just as interesting – like, Malmö, Harlow or Weil am Rhein.A bonus extra edition of the weekly digest! (So you get four per month)
And full access to the publication archives, so you can access anything I’ve covered, whenever you want.
Curious to know what the paid-for Substack is like? You can read the first City Guide on Malmö here.
Founding members, aka yearly paying subscribers to Architecture on Tour, will get access to…
Maps:
Who doesn’t love a good map? I’m no cartographer, far from it, but I have pinpointed a lot of buildings in my time. Start a yearly subscription and you’ll get access to all the Google Maps that correlate to the city guides that have been posted – and more. Zoom in to focus on a certain place or scroll out to get the bigger picture. Architectural highlights from around the world will be at your fingertips.
